FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What if we want to combine the packages?

This is welcome.  The pricing depends on time, not on the package so please let us know what combination of packages suits you best!

Do you bring your own sound system?

Yes we do and it is included in the price.

What if we can provide the PA system for you?

In our experience we have found that for reliability and professional performances, we prefer to bring our own system.  This way we can guarantee that the sound is always perfect, every time!

Can we use your sound system for our speeches?

We prefer to use the system for our performance only.  In rare cases we can make exceptions, but we would still charge for the time. Please contact us if you have a special request in this area.

Do you charge for setup?

No. Our fee includes setup time.  We generally arrive 1 to 1.5 hours early to set up.

What do you need?

We require a small stage or riser that is located within 20 ft of an electrical outlet.  If a stage cannot be provided, we can bring benches to sit on, but traditionally Indian musicians sit on the floor and therefore the presentation will look and sound much better if there is a stage.  Most halls will have a stage on site.  If there is any problem with the hall providing a stage, please contact us.  A covering for the stage will also add to the presentation (we do not provide this).

We need a minimum of 45 min to set up, but we prefer to have 1 hour to 1.5 hours.  We also need about 20 to 30min to take down.

What part of the wedding do you usually play for?

The most common time for us to play is during the cocktail hour.  The second most common time is during the dinner.  We can also do a feature performance (a concert) at anytime during the wedding festivities.  Another option is for us to play quietly during the wedding ceremony or even for the entrance or the bride, groom and family.

Do you do corporate events, private parties and other functions?

Yes we do!

What do I need to do to make a booking?

When we have received it, we will send you a quote.  Once you would like to book, there is a short contract and a small deposit and your booking will be confirmed.
